Easter onions! I'm trying to get away from the "Carol Marine" style of painting. I'm finding that I've been focusing a lot on technique and less so on capturing how I "feel" about the subject. In this setup.I was trying to capture the lighting and glow on the onions but ended up painting all of the beautiful colors I was seeing instead.
