I want to create a better still life set up so I can paint at home. I got this LED light in the mail today so I wanted to try it out. I mounted it on my tripod and had to use my french easel (which I really hate, it is a horribly complicated and bulky design for an easel). I need to get new brushes. They've all gone hairy!

I'm starting to realize the importance of a well set up still life. It makes finding an interesting/ beautiful composition so much easier. It also keeps me engaged throughout the painting process.
