Painted a fake apple and plastic bottle. I wanted to try to capture the red glow on red cloth.

I'm trying to get better at painting digitally so someone suggested painting a still life from memory. Here's my first attempt at applying all of my memory of what apples backlit look like. It only took me 12 minutes to do so I know I'm oversimplifying, but I really had fun painting this.

This is my favorite apple painting so far. It's so shiny!

I set up my french easel in my room so now I don't have to paint at work anymore. It's really nice to be able to paint from the comfort of home, but also bad because then the painting is always in my face and I am tempted to noodle it to death.
